Two more editors of Gundalik Azerbaijan give testimony in National Security Ministry

Editors of recently suspended Gundalik Azerbaijan newspaper Uzeyir Jafarov and Khalid Kazimli gave testimonies in National Security Ministry regarding the criminal case launched on the founder and editor-in-chief of Eynulla Fetullayev on articles 214 (threatening with terrorism) and 283.2.2 (stirring up national, racial, social or religious enmity) of the Criminal Code, Uzeyir Jafarov told the APA.
Inspector of National Security Ministry Samir Aliyev and head of the investigation group Serdar Jarchiyev asked him about the financial resources of the newspaper and Eynulla Fetullayev. Jafarov said that he wanted to get information about the goods of the editorial office confiscated by National Security Ministry officers.
â€œSerdar Jarchiyev said that the investigation of the computers is about to finish and the equipment will soon be returned,â€ he said.
Khalid Kazimli told the APA that he was asked about the newspaperâ€™s activity, relations between Gundalik Azerbaijan and Realny Azerbaijan newspapers and the correspondentsâ€™ salaries.
Chief editor of Gundalik Azerbaijan newspaper Shahveled Chobanoglu also gave testimonies in National Security Ministry today.
Founder and editor-in-chief of Gundalik Azerbaijan and Realny Azerbaijan newspapers Eynulla Fetullayev, as well as some correspondents of the newspapers Chingiz Sultansoy and Rauf Karimov gave testimonies concerning the criminal case.
Gundalik Azerbaijan told the APA that several correspondents of the newspaper have also been invited to the National Security Ministry. They will give testimonies tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. /APA/
