OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Miklos Haraszti has prepared a report regarding the problems journalists face during rallies, OSCE told the APA.
The report has been presented to Permanent Council of the organization.
Haraszti named Belgium as country where journalists are behaved well during mass demonstrations. In this country law-enforcement officials do not touch to those who show their press card.
OSCE Representative said that journalists in the US, Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Estonia are badly behaved. Assault on journalists has also been reflected in the report.
Unknown people assaulted Zerkalo newspaper’s official and injured him during protest actions of opposition held in Baku in 2005. /APA/
