Lawyer Isakhan Ashurov met with imprisoned editor of Gundalik Azerbaijan and Realny Azerbaijan newspapers Eynulla Fetullayev who is kept in National Security Ministry’s detention place, Ashurov told the APA. He said that his defendant has not yet been interrogated.
“I do not know what investigative actions are being carried out about him,†he said.
The lawyer said Eynulla Fetullayev feels normal and does not complain of anything.
Editorial office of Gundalik Azerbaijan and Realny Azerbaijan newspapers and Eynulla Fetullayev’s house was searched according to the criminal case launched by National Security Ministry Head Investigation Department under article 214 (threatening with terrorism) of the Criminal Code on May 16.
Eynulla Fetullayev was transferred to National Security Ministry’s detention place after the criminal case was launched./APA/
