The decision on establishment of dubbing offices in TV channels should be fulfilled. Every channel should know that the broadcasting will be held in mother tongue in Azerbaijan, chairman of National Television and Radio Council (NTRC) Nushirevan Maharramli told the APA.
NTRC head saying that the broadcasting of films in foreign language will be banned form January 1, 2008 said the TV channels have not yet solved the problem of dubbing studios.
Mr.Maharramli also stressed that NTRC will not assist TV channels in this process. He said that the establishment of dubbing studios is internal problem of TV channels and they should deal with this work themselves. As to the sayings that there will be distinction between films produced in Turkey and foreign films translated into Turkish, Maharramli called this a very delicate case.
“It will not be right to translate a foreign film into Azerbaijani which has already been translated into Turkish,” he said.
Mr.Maharramli also stated that if films dubbed to Turkish create problems for Azerbaijani audience, NTRC will interfere with it. /APA/
