Tatyana Chaladze calls for Miklos Haraszti to be responsible

The state of Azerbaijani media was debated in the World Congress of Mass Media in Moscow, journalist Tatyana Chaladze told the APA.
She said that Matanat Bagiyeva advisor of Presidentâ€™s Office represents Azerbaijan.
â€œMiklos Haraszti, OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media gave incorrect information about the state of media in Azerbaijan. Matanat Bagiyeva and I reacted to these reports. I was not allowed addressing the congress but I achieved it. I said that the case regarding Eynulla Fetullayev is not pressure on media, nut a criminal case. Eynulla did not make investigations and slandered. I was interviewed by some journalists. Miklos Haraszti agreed to meet with us,â€ she said.
Tatyana Chaladze said they will meet with Miklos Haraszti today.
â€œHaraszti says that he does not understand arresting people for slander. I said that there is an item concerning it in Azerbaijani legislation. Miklos Haraszti underlined that he does not like this law. I have copied the materials of the criminal case on Eynulla Fetullayev and present them to Miklos Haraszti. I call Miklos Haraszti to be responsible,â€ she said. /APA/
