Lawyer Aslan Ismayilov met with editor-in-chief of Mukhalifet (Opposition) newspaper Rovshen Kebirli in Bayil detention place, the lawyer told the APA. He said Kebirli does not complain of his detention conditions.
“The editor said he and his colleague Yashar Agazade are sure that Appeals Court will make a fair decision. Rovshen Kebirli does not admit his guilt and said he did not insult honor and dignity of anybody,†he said.
The lawyer said an appeal will be filed against Yasamal court decision on journalists’ arrest.
Yasamal district court sentenced Rovshen Kebirli and Yashar Agazade to two and a half years on the claim of parliamentarian, academician Jalal Aliyev. /APA/
