May 20, chief editor of Gundelik Azerbaijan newspaper Shahveled Chobanoglu told the APA. He said that they discussed it at recent meeting of the committee and decided to hold the rally in June. Chobanoglu said that the exact date of the rally will be known at the end of the week. He also said that the committee members offered different kinds of protest actions.
“One of them is to picket simultaneously in 10 different places of the city. Another offer is to bind journalists’ mouths and rally. A concrete decision will be made after all proposals are debated,†he said. /APA/
