He said the program includes clause on freedom of expression, assistance to professional journalists. Nils Muižnieks said the meetings with officials are not sufficient, added that he will also meet with journalists during the visits to Azerbaijan.
“I will keep this issue in the focus of attention during my 6-year mandate,†he said.
Nils Muižnieks said he supports decriminalization of defamation.
