Baku to host international forum on mass media security

APA reports quoting press service of the Council of Europe that the event is jointly organized by the Council of Europe, European Broadcasting Union, OSCE and UNESCO. Nils Muižnieks, Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, Jean-Paul Philippot, President of the European Broadcasting Union and Neelie Kroes, European Commissioner for Digital Agenda will attend the opening of the forum.
During the forum, the participants will discuss the issues on prevention of use of the Internet for terrorist purposes and extension of Internet users’ rights and opportunities on free access to Internet traffic. Moreover, Article #15 of the Convention on cybercrime will be also discussed during the forum.
