Group of Azerbaijani journalists visit Israel

Baku â€“ APA. A group of Azerbaijani journalists visited Israel. The Embassy of Israel in Azerbaijan told APA that the visit was jointly organized by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Embassy.

The aim of the visit is to introduce Israel to Azerbaijani journalists and become familiar with political, social, economic and cultural spheres of the country. The journalists will meet with well-known political and public figures during the three-day visit. They will also visit the leading companies of Israel specialized in spheres of water, alternative energy, information technologies and medicine. In addition, they will also visit beautiful places of Israel.

The visit coincides with the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Israel. â€œThe Israeli Embassy in Azerbaijan believes that this visit will allow Azerbaijani journalists to learn more about Israel and its people and in its turn, it will contribute to the friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Israelâ€ â€“ the statement says.
