APA reports that special correspondent of the agency Victoria Dementeva has been sent to the US for this purpose.
She will observe the election process in New-Hampshire.
The visit is being realized within the framework of the project “Covering the US presidential elections in 2012†funded by the Foreign Press Center of the US Department of State. The project is being implemented by the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ).
The journalists from 56 countries participate in the project. From Azerbaijan only APA’s correspondent has been invited to cover the US presidential elections. APA’s correspondent is observing the elections with the support of the US embassy in Azerbaijan.
The visit will focus on the familiarization with the electoral system in the US and election process in New-Hampshire.
