Presentation of honorary titles and prizes to journalists awarded by President of Azerbaijan - <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

According to APA, chief of the public policy department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov, Chairman of the Foundation of Government Support to Mass Media Vugar Safarov, Chairman of the Press Council Aflatun Amashov, MPs, newspaper editors and others participated at the ceremony.

In his address to the event, chief of the public policy department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov said the national press faced with a number of problems on its way, including murder of journalist. Hasanov said Azerbaijani press achieved great development in comparison to 1991.

â€œThe journalists have to be most principal persons of high moral standards that their words could be acceptable by the societyâ€, said Hasanov.

He said the journalists would be awarded further not depending on their positions.

Then Hasanov presented prizes to the journalists.

APA Director General Vusala Mahirqizi (Abishova) was also among the awarded journalists. V. Mahirqizi received a title of Honored Journalist.
