â€œI talked with AzTV manager. He said he was working in this directionâ€, said the diplomat. Answering the question about the working group established for mutual broadcast of Azerbaijani channels in Russia and Russian channels in Azerbaijan, Dorokhin said it was completely different project. â€œThat working group is a closed issue. We donâ€™t work on thatâ€.

Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev said Russia was ready to give an opportunity to CIS TV channels to broadcast in Russia.

Minister of Communication of Russia Igor Shegolev said they solved the problem of transmitting the national TV signals of CIS countries in Russia. â€œTransmitting such channels via NTV+ satellite platform is the most optimal versionâ€.

He said legal and technical problems of this issue were negotiated with the CIS partners.

Gazprom-Media Director General Nokolay Senkevich said that the holding decided to finance transmitting of CIS channels via NTV+ platform.

New potential NTV+ subscribers can watch the national TV channels at symbolic price â€“ 50 rubles.
