Vusala Mahirgizi gives lecture to students of school of journalism at Baku State University

Baku - APA. Today, Director General of APA Information Agency Vusala Mahirgizi has given lecture to the students of school of journalism at Baku State University.
â€œEstablishment and development of Azerbaijanâ€™s information agenciesâ€ taught by Professor of the International Journalism Department Parvana Ibrahimova was devoted to the history of state and private information agencies of our country, APA reports.

Mahirgizi spoke about establishment history of APA Information Agency, freedom of press, state of modern press and its perspectives in Azerbaijan during the lecture.

Dean of the school of journalism Yalchin Alizadeh, chief of the Journalism theory and practice department Jahangir Mammadli, chief of International Journalism Department Hamid Valiyev and Professor Vugar Aliyev thanked Vusala Mahirtgizi for her interesting lecture.

Next lecture on â€œEstablishment and development of Azerbaijanâ€™s information agenciesâ€ will be given by Aslan Aslanov - Director General of Azertac.
