APA correspondent forces Nagorno Karabakh separatists’ representative to stand up to commemorate memory of Khojaly genocide victims

Baku – APA. Russian Rosbalt agency held a round table “Nagorno Karabakh: unresolved problem”, but press release issued a day before the round table surprised Azerbaijani media representative sin Moscow. APA correspondent in Moscow Roman Aghayev protested participation of Ruben Zargaryan, who was introduced as an “adviser to foreign minister of so-called Nagorno Karabakh Republic”. Despite the protests, the organizers didn’t cancel the event. Answering the question whether were they aware of coinciding of this event with the anniversary of Khojaly genocide they said that they knew about that but every Thursday they held a press conference at the editorial office and therefore scheduled roundtable on Thursday.

Zargaryan repeated traditional position of Armenians at the roundtable. Roman Aghayev proposed to the participants to commemorate memory of people killed by the Armenian fascists in Khojaly with a minute of silence. Zargaryan was also forced to stand up. The Azerbaijani journalist presented to the participants edition of “Irs-Nasledie” journal, which published a large article about Khojaly and his documentary “Armenian fascism”.
