National Broadcasting Council organizes training for TV and radio presenters

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva â€“ APA. National Broadcasting Council organized trainings for TV and radio presenters on the theme â€œRequirements of the legislation on broadcasting and policy of broadcastersâ€, APA reports. Chairman of the National Broadcasting Council Nushiravan Maharramli said the professionalism of TV channels should be increased.
â€œThe National Broadcasting Council will do its best for this. But TV channels should also fulfill their duties. The situation is so badâ€¦ â€ he said.

Maharramli said the channels must obey the provisions on not damaging the stateâ€™s territorial integrity, preventing religious, racial, national discrimination, not calling for terrorism and violence, not broadcasting pornography, erotica.
â€œSometimes presenters consider that all know them, they sometimes discuss the topics that they can not discuss at home. Some say television is the mirror of life. But it is not right to reflect the mess of the life. Singers have captured channels. Programs are prepared in the cars, furniture stores and beauty shops. With this the presenter, the head of the TV channel lower themselves,â€ he said.

Nushiravan Maharramli said advertisers must not dictate to the heads of channels. The prices of commercials should not be increased for this.
Chairman of the National Broadcasting Council said according to the normative documents concerning juveniles adopted by the Council, TV channels must not demonstrate horror films, films describing violence, bloody scenes, crimes, suicide, bodies of dead men and those killed brutally, hypnotic scenes from 7.00 till 23.00. Programs about magicians are often demonstrated. They should be demonstrated after 23.00,â€ he said.
