A media tour was organized to the highway leading to the "Shafag" Solar Power Plant, constructed from the 197th kilometer of the Hajigabul–Bahramtepe–Republic of Armenia State Border highway in Jabrayil district, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.
Journalists were informed that the road is being built in accordance with the IV technical category.
The total length of the road is 11.5 kilometers, and it consists of two lanes with a width of 6 meters. The construction of this road was carried out based on the Order signed by the President of Azerbaijan in December of last year.
The commissioning of the new road will contribute to ensuring traffic safety and improving transportation convenience for the population in this direction.
On October 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening of the highway leading to the "Shafag" Solar Power Plant, constructed from the 197th kilometer of the Hajigabul–Bahramtepe–Republic of Armenia State Border highway in Jabrayil district.
