Azerbaijan spent nearly AZN 6 bln. on construction works in liberated territories last year-LIST

In 2024, Azerbaijan spent 5 billion 982 million 63.3 thousand manats on construction and installation works in the liberated territories, APA-Economics reports based on the report of Azerbaijan's State Statistics Committee.

This figure is 1 million 596 thousand manats less compared to the same period of the previous year. In 2023, 5 billion 983 million 659 thousand manats were allocated for construction and installation works in the liberated territories.

Notably, during the reporting period, the largest amounts were allocated to Kalbajar (1 billion 374 million 784 thousand manats), Lachin (894 million 736.7 thousand manats), and Aghdam (809 million 487 thousand manats) districts.

Recall that last year, 21 billion 435.1 million manats were allocated to fixed capital investments in Azerbaijan, of which 15 billion 524 million 894 thousand manats were spent on construction and installation works. Thus, during the reporting period, the funds allocated for construction and installation works in the liberated territories accounted for 38.5% of the total reconstruction expenditures in the country.
