In January–September of this year, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) carried 358,291 passengers to Georgia, APA’s local bureau reports, citing the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency.
During the reporting period, AZAL’s share in Georgia’s aviation market stood at 6%.
Azerbaijan’s national air carrier ranked 6th among the top ten airlines transporting the most passengers to Georgia in the first nine months of the year. The top three were Wizz Air (1,065,618 passengers), Georgian Airways (509,238), and Turkish Airlines (458,370).
For comparison, last year AZAL carried 412,980 passengers to Georgia.
