Transportation by rail declines 1.5% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. 22.9 million tons of cargo was transported by rail in Azerbaijan during January-October, a 1.4% decline on the same period last year.
The State Statistical Committee said that wagon loading a day fell 3.3% and unloading increased 11.8% over this period.
Wagon loading a day for northbound routes fell 8.4%, for westbound routes increased 11.2% and for southbound routes rose 15.5%.
