Azerbaijan to cut international call and internet service prices next year

Baku. Vugar Mustafayev - APA-Economics. Baku Telephone Communications Unit has cut prices of ADSL service effective November, 2008.
Given that subscribers paid 39 manats a month for the Internet access at speeds of 64 Kbit /s, they can now use the Internet at speeds of 128 Kbit/s at the same price a month.
The new price change applies to only the internet service at speeds of up to 512 Kbit /s
Besides, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies will make changes in prices of telecommunication services.
According to preliminary information, the ministry will cut prices of the international call and Internet service by 20-25%.
