HP: Azerbaijan is among CIS high-tech pioneers

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan is one of pioneers in the introduction of information technology in various fields, Rudi Kozak, HP director general for the CIS.
According to him, with careful consideration of the ICT sector of Azerbaijan, one can immediately identify two main vectors of development â€“ â€œTechnology for various sectorsâ€ and the â€œNew economyâ€.
Kozak added that the country is implementing large IT-projects, and some of the planned projects are not for only national but also regional scale.
He noted that Azerbaijan is undertaking a systemic introduction of information technology in the public sector, education, in different segments of the business.
â€HP is an active partner of Azerbaijan in the implementation of these multi-projects. In addition, HP technology is actively being implemented in the financial sector and some leading banks use HP solutions,â€ he noted.
