Baku – APA. Officer of the Azerbaijani Army, Major Samit Imanov, 35, who heroically died during the recent clashes with Armenian armed forces, was laid to rest in the Hasanabad village of Neftchala district on April 9.
The funeral was attended by representatives of the Defense Ministry, State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, the district executive authority.
The Azerbaijani national flag covering the coffin was presented to the bereaved brother.
Samit Imanov had two children. He hadn’t reportedly seen his second newborn baby.
