Mehdiyev has been rebuked for failing to timely prevent construction work carried out in the district territory, without a relevant document authorizing construction, and detection of some faults in this direction, Baku Mayor’s Office spokesperson Naila Mammadova told APA.
“Under President Ilham Aliyev’s instructions, the Baku Mayor’s Office has discovered that Lake Residence LLC started illegal construction work in 25 General Akim Abbasov str. bloc 593, Yasamal district, without obtaining a document authorizing construction, and one portion of a lake in that area was filled with construction scraps,” she said.
According to Mammadova, the management of Lake Residence LLC, which carries out illegal construction work in the area specified by the Baku Mayor’s Office, was warned in this regard.
“Lake Residence Limited Liability Company was instructed to halt the illegal construction work there, discharge water from the filled part of the lake, and for recreation of people to carry out renovation works at the highest level at its expense,” she noted.
Mammadova said that instructions were given to investigate the illegal activities of the management of Lake Residence LLC, which carries out illegal construction in the area without permission and illegally seized and filled a part of the lake, and take appropriate measures.
