Ali Huseynli: â€œThe judicial and legal reforms are implemented successfully in Azerbaijanâ€

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. â€œWe are member of the European legal system and the European Court on Human Rights are addressed for any mistake and inexactnesses by the national courts. If we lose in this instance, the state must either pay a compensation, or solve the issue in the other form. This moment is very significant for our judicial systemâ€, said Chairman of Azerbaijan Lawyers Confederation, and Legal Policy and State Building Committee of Parliament Ali Huseynli, APA reports.

He considered significant the submission of European Conventional on Human Rights and Freedoms for discussion in the Summer School for the Court Judges and Lawyers and said that the judicial and legal reforms are implemented successfully in Azerbaijan: â€œAzerbaijan passed a certain way in this direction and achieved good results. But there are the other works too. The legal framework is being improved nowâ€.

Huseynli said that the Judicial and Legal Council and the international organization functioning in Azerbaijan pay special attention to the application of European Conventional on Human Rights and Freedoms: â€œIt is estimable that our judges have been applying this convention in recent years. In this case there is no necessity to address the mechanisms of the other international institutes. At the same time the number of complaints to the European Court on human Rights will decrease, because the problem is solved at the level of national courts. It is a significant caseâ€.
