Azerbaijani judges want mainly to learn European legislative base on human rights

Instead of police, prosecutor bodes, the citizens appeals the courts. That is why, it is important to improve the professional skills of judgesâ€™, said Javid Huseynov, head of the Judicial Legal Council Office.

To him, modern judicial system has been in operation since 2000: â€˜Very serious reforms have been conducted during these years. The main success in these reforms is experience. The study of this experience played the role of stimulus for the next yearsâ€™.

â€˜Nobody could imagine that total control would be deleted over the court in Azerbaijan, authority of the courts on provision of human rights would increase without breakâ€™ added Huseynov.

â€˜The most actual issue, which the judges want to learn is the legislative base connected with European human rightsâ€™ he noted.
