First Secretary of German embassy: â€˜Azerbaijan has developed in judicial-legal sphereâ€™

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. â€˜Within 21-years of independence Azerbaijan has developed in judicial-legal sphereâ€™, First Secretary of German embassy in Azerbaijan Florian Potter said at the opening of Summer School for Judges and lawyers, APA reports.

Touching upon the steps taken in Azerbaijan in this sphere, Potter said that the country carries out work in direction of fulfillment of undertaken obligations: â€˜But this is a long process. All wishes can not be realized within such short time. A lot must be done in this regard. And first of all, Azerbaijan must give much attention to the undertaken obligationsâ€™.

Potter expressed hope that Azerbaijan would try to eliminate mental barriers for the application of western values in judicial-legal sphere.

To him, Azerbaijan will be able to access the existing barriers.
