Azerbaijani Emergency Minister: â€œIf there is a flood risk in the future, the riverside villages will not face any dangerâ€

According to Minister, the Ministry of Emergency Situations is finishing the construction of bases over the part of Kur River crossing via Neftchala, Salyan and Sabirabad regions. The coast protecting and bottom cleaning vessels are carrying out their work: â€œIf there is a flood risk in the future, the riverside villages will not face dangerâ€.

Commenting on the reports about dissatisfactions with the compensations paid to flood-affected population, Heydarov said: â€œThese reports are incorrect. The local executive authorities were not involved in the distribution of compensations, because the compensations determined by the commissions are sent to the citizens via mail. What can the regional executive authorities do here? The lists are made by the commissions. The population had a problem with receiving the compensations. We discussed this issue. All reports about the dissatisfactions are not true. Some people introduce it in the manner beneficial for themselves.â€
