The traffic police officers told APA’s local bureau that traffic was restricted in Aghsu pass, Mughanli-Ismayilli, Ismayilli-Lahij, Shamakhy-Pirgulu highways.
On the night of March 11-12, Aghsu pass remained closed. Measures are being taken to clear the roads and restore the traffic.
Necessary measures are being taken to clear the snow and ice in Basgal part of Mughanli-Ismayilli-Gabala highway, roads leading to Pirgulu and other villages of Shamakhy.
Drivers are advised to use Baku-Gazakh, Kurdamir-Aghsu, Ujar-Goychay, Aghdash-Gabala highways.
The snow depth in Aghsu pass is 15-20 cm, in the mountainous villages of Shamakhy, Ismayilli and Aghsu is 25-30 cm.
