Ramiz Rzayev: â€œThe European continental judicial system is implemented in Azerbaijanâ€

During the meeting Rzayev informed them about Azerbaijanâ€™sâ€™ judicial system, the Supreme Courtsâ€™ structure, and activity. He said that the European continental judicial system was implemented in Azerbaijan. The international legal acts, especially the European Conventionâ€™s precedent right on â€œProtection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedomsâ€ are studied at the seminars held in the Supreme Court every week. The newest information technologies are used at the judicial process. The judge election procedures are coordinated with the European standards. The Monitoring Committeeâ€™s co-rapporteurs exchanged their views on the purpose of the visit, Azerbaijanâ€™s integration to Europe and improvement of judicial system.
