State Commission: â€œ10 Azerbaijani citizens registered as missing people are probably kept in occupied territoriesâ€

The investigations revealed that 10 persons are alive and captivated by Armenian armed forces in the occupied territories. There is general information about 80 people. 1412 inquiry on 923 people have been sent to different state bodies and international organizations connected with specification of information and search of missing people. â€œPersonal informationâ€ has been filed for 200 people from this category, additional information and materials on more than 1500 missing people had been added to their â€œpersonal filesâ€.

Received answers in accordance with inquiry on 588 people registered as missing people by the State Commission and by the International Organization of the Red Cross, other information have been analyzed, systematized and added to appropriate bases.

According to the Finance Ministryâ€™s inquiry, for the purpose of taking measures for strengthening of social protection of missing servicemenâ€™ families in future, information on people from this category registered by the State Committee have been systematized and sent to this organization. The appeals of the parents of 57 missing persons sent to the President, Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the State Commission chairman and other government organziations were examined, the raised questions were investigated and the relevant organizations were informed about it.

110 inquiries of different government agencies and international organizations on missing persons and released captives were executed last year.
More than 50 relatives of missing persons appealed to the State Committee and received in Worker group, were informed about the activities for their search, the materials on the conditions of Missing were documented.
The relatives missing and captivated Azerbaijani citizens as well as soldiers and civilians killed in the contact line as a result of ceasefire violation were received in State Commissionâ€™s working group.
