Trial of people accused in knifing of Peopleâ€™s artist Faig Aghayev started

Suffered persons â€“ Azer Musayev and Ramin Bayramov participated in the preparatory meeting. But Aghayev did not come to the meeting. At the same time, accused Seymur Mammadovâ€™s lawyer Dilgam Musayev did not attended the preparatory meeting as well. Defenders asked the judge to sustain suffered Faig Aghayevâ€™s participation in the court. But the judge noted that each suffered has a right to come or not to the preparatory meeting. The process will be continued on January 12.

Note that, the incident was recorded on September 27, 2010, in Nasimi district in the place called â€œKubinkaâ€. While driving his Audi peopleâ€™s artist Faig Aghayev quarreled with the driver and passengers of VAZ-2107. As a result of the quarrel, Faig Aghayev and two men were knifed. The perpetrators escaped. They were three. Faig Aghayev, his bodyguards Ramin Bayramov and Azer Musayev had been operated. Faig Aghayev received six knife wounds, four in back, one in hip, one in belly.

3 persons have been detained related to the incident. Under articles 126.2.1, 126.2.4 and 221.3 of the Criminal Code, Nasimi district Court sentenced Rufat Malikov to 3 months in prison, Seymur Mammadov to 2 months. Other participant Natevan Sherifova has been detained under article 221.3 of the Criminal Code. Currently, investigation is underway on the fact.
Remind that, criminal case has been launched on the mentioned incident under articles #126.2.1, 126.2.4 and 221.3, had been substituted by articles #126.2.1, 221.2.1 and 221.3 of the Criminal Code.
