Interior Ministry: Materials related to 11 persons detained in the unsanctioned protest action outside the Education Ministry have been sent to the court

â€œIt is undesirable to hold such a protest action aiming to violate the public order. A group of persons attempted to hold an unsanctioned protest action outside the Education Ministry. The unsanctioned protest action was dispersed by Narimanov district police,â€ he said.

Ehsan Zahidov noted that some protesters showed resistance to the police.
â€œSome of them ignored the demands of the police and showed resistance. 16 protesters were taken to the police office. 5 of them were released after warning. The materials related to the rest were sent to the district court,â€ he said.

A group of persons attempted to hold a protest action under the slogan â€œFreedom to hijab!â€ outside the Education Ministry. APA reports that pupils of the secondary schools of Baku and Azerbaijani regions, parents of the pupils participated in the action. The protesters chanted slogans â€œFreedom to hijab!â€, â€œAllahu-Akbar!â€. They demanded meeting with the officials of the Education Ministry. The protesters restricted the traffic in front of the Education Ministry.
