Though Jabrayil resident Garaoghlan Guliyev did not give interview to journalists, Beylagan resident Maharram Orujov had a little talk at Heydar Aliyev International Airport. To him, they were detained by Israeli servicemen while taking humanitarian aid to Gaza: “They detained our ship when we want to enter Gaza. There was not any armed attack to ship, they only said that we had not permission to enter Gaza. And our personnel did not put up resistance against Israeli servicemenâ€.
Orujov said that there was not any weapon or armed man in the ships. Israeli servicemen took them first to Ashdot, and then to Tal-Aviv. “We were detained in normal conditionsâ€, he added.
Note that, Azerbaijani citizens were seen off by Tal-Aviv-Baku direct flight from Israel.
