Araz River’s new branch leaks to some agricultural fields in Imishli

Imishli. Alibey Zeynalli – APA. The new branch of Araz River leaked to some agricultural fields of Imishli region, residents of Chakhirli village of Imishli region told APA local bureau. They said the new branch reached Chakhirli village and leaked to some agricultural fields. The forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are taking necessary measures to prevent water leakage not to damage the agricultural fields. The regional emergency commission told APA that water level in Kur River rose 10-16 cm and it caused rise of water level in Sarisu Lake. Dam entrenchment is continued around the lake and no flood threat is expected there.
