Baku – APA. Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister, Colonel-General Safar Abiyev received U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Celeste Wallander. Press service of the Department of Defense told APA that Defense Minister noted the importance of strengthening the activity of the US as a co-chair within the framework of OSCE Minsk Group, expressed his views on the security issues in the region and current state of Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
Prospects of US – Azerbaijan military cooperation were discussed during the meeting.
