Background
In 2022, Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, acquired X (formerly Twitter) for USD 44 billion. The outage marks a rare occurrence for the platform, which has not experienced a similar disruption in some time.
Current Status
The cause of the outage remains unclear, as X has not released an official statement regarding the issue. The outage, particularly affecting India, has been substantial, but the platform is now fully operational.
