Plug and Play: We will work to accelerate innovation in Azerbaijan’s state-owned companies

Plug and Play aims to support the acceleration of innovation processes in state-owned companies in Azerbaijan, Alfredo Soria, Plug and Play’s Director for the EMEA region, said during his speech at the “Plug and Play × IDDA – Industry Challenges” innovation event, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, one of the main goals of the two-day “Industry Challenges” program is to help accelerate innovation in state-owned companies, while also providing participants with a different approach to problems and their solutions.

“We aim to help accelerate innovation in state-owned enterprises, as well as at the individual level. We want to provide people with a different perspective on problems and a different way of thinking in terms of innovation,” Alfredo Soria said.

He noted that within the framework of the program, existing challenges in various fields will be identified and technological approaches to them will be considered.

The Plug and Play official added that the company’s approach is based on bringing startups and corporate entities together and connecting startups with real business opportunities and potential customers.
