The location of the vessel that sank off the coast of Silivri in the Sea of Marmara with 10 crew members on board has been identified, the Turkish Ministry of National Defense announced, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
The location of the vessel was identified by the TCG Akın rescue and towing ship, which has been operating in the accident area since the first day.
Following the identification of the area where the wreckage of the vessel is located, efforts are expected to be intensified to conduct more detailed examinations on the seabed, document the condition of the vessel, and locate the bodies of the missing crew members.
