Opportunities to address specific operational problems faced by Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) and Baku Metro CJSC through innovative technologies and startup solutions will be explored, Farid Osmanov, Chairman of the Board of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, said during his speech at the “Plug and Play × IDDA – Industry Challenges” innovation event, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, ADY and Baku Metro manage infrastructure that is important for the country’s economy and the daily lives of citizens.
F. Osmanov said that identifying the specific operational challenges of these organizations and openly presenting them for joint solutions could enable the companies to become not only users of innovative solutions but also active participants in innovation.
“We want this workshop to go beyond general discussions. Its success should be measured by the quality of the challenges identified, the relevance of the ideas to be developed and, most importantly, the potential for those ideas to be transformed into pilot projects and implementable solutions,” F. Osmanov noted.
