Galatasaray beat Istanbul in Batrakov's first match in the starting lineup

Galatasaray defeated Istanbul 3-2 in an away match of the fourth round of the Turkish football championship, APA reports.

Victor Osimhen (16th minute), Lucas Torreira (71), and Gabriel Sara (90) scored for the winners. Eldor Shomurodov (66, penalty) scored for the losers. In the 76th minute, Galatasaray defender Davinson Sánchez sent the ball into his own goal. Eight minutes later, he scored in the opposing goal, but the goal was disallowed for offside.

Midfielder Alexei Batrakov made his first appearance in the Galatasaray starting lineup. The Russian played 68 minutes but failed to score against the Turkish club. He made his debut for the club on August 29 in the third round of the Turkish championship match against Göztepe (3-2), coming on as a substitute after halftime.
