There will be a “20 September” metro station in Baku, APA reports.
The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a decision in this regard.
According to the decision, taking into account that state sovereignty was restored throughout the entire territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan on September 20, 2023, based on the initiative of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the new station of the Baku Metro, located at 194 Jalil Mammadguluzade Street in Baku’s Nasimi district, has been named “20 September.”
The Baku City Executive Authority and Baku Metro Closed Joint Stock Company should resolve the issues arising from this Decision.
