He said that people laid down their lives for their homeland during Maidan events, Azerbaijan also suffered losses in the struggle for independence.
“Azerbaijani territories were occupied. We share the same problem and each other’s grief. Let’s forget the past concerns, disputes over “someone didn’t support someone somewhere” and seek ways out of the common problems. Let's work together for the development of our peoples and countries,” he noted.
The ambassador said that Ukraine supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and will support Azerbaijan even in the international arena.
