Baku. Malahat Najafova – APA. The new co-rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Polish MP Tadeusz Iwinski will visit Baku in early March.
Press service of the PACE Monitoring Committee told APA-Economics that the visit will be paid in the first week of March.
The visit aims to study current situation within the monitoring of fulfillment of obligations by Azerbaijan.
The visit program has already been developed. Within the visit, Iwinski is expected to meet with Azerbaijani officials, MPs, human right defenders and media representatives.
At the same time, the situation on preparation for parliamentary elections to be held in November will be studied during the visit. The date of submission of report on the outcome of the visit will be determined at the meeting of the Monitoring Committee to be held on March 17.
