Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. Speaker of the Azerbaijani President Ogtay Asadov has commented on various remarks about Azerbaijan’s voting in PACE against the sanctions imposed on Russia, APA reports.

Asadov delivered a speech at today’s meeting of the Parliament and recalled Europe’s attitude toward the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to those who accused Azerbaijan in this regard.

He said that Baku in all cases supports and will support the territorial integrity of Ukraine in all cases.

“However, we don’t join the sanctions and are against it. Some say, as if Azerbaijan provides support for the invader and justifies the invader. No. This is definitely not the case. We simply support dialogue instead of sanctions. Indeed, the very Europe offers us a dialogue instead of imposing sanctions on the Armenians. We offer them to apply their version everywhere. It doesn’t mean that we have negative position on Ukraine. We support the territorial integrity of Ukraine in all senses,” he noted.
