Azerbaijani President congratulates Serbian, Lithuanian counterparts

One behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev extended heartfelt congratulations to Tomislav NikoliÄ‡ and the Serbian people on the country’s national holiday.

“I believe the Azerbaijani-Serbian friendship and cooperation and our bilateral ties, which have reached the level of strategic partnership, will continue to develop and strengthen in keeping with our nations’ interests. On this auspicious day, I send you my best wishes and to the friendly people of Serbia peace and prosperity,” said the letter.

Furtermore, one behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan, the head of state congratulated Lithuanian President Dalia GrybauskaitÄ— and the people of Lithuania on the country’s national holiday.

“I attach special importance to relations with Lithuania as one of Azerbaijan’s key partners. I believe we will continue our joint efforts for the further development of our friendly and cooperative relations. On such an auspicious day, I wish you robust health and good luck in your presidency and to the friendly people of Lithuania lasting peace and welfare,” said the letter.
