“We condemn in strongest terms the barbaric killing of 21 nationals of the Arab Republic of Egypt by the terrorists. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the People of Egypt and the families of the victims,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hikmat Hajiyev said in a statement.
“As a country suffering from the terrorism, the Republic of Azerbaijan shares the grievances of Egyptian people and reiterates its condemnation of all forms and manifestations of terrorism”, said Hajiyev noted.
Note that, militants of Tripoli province beheaded 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians. The militants posted photos of the hostages wearing orange jumpsuits. All laborers rounded up from the city of Sirte (600 km east from Tripoli) in early January. The date of murder is not publicized.
