Azerbaijani FM, Georgian PM meet in Tbilisi

Garibashvili expressed satisfaction with the development of friendly relations and strategic partnership between the two countries, noting that the Georgia-Azerbaijan cooperation is exemplary, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry told APA.

The PM said Georgia is a reliable partner in the projects of TANAP and TAP.

E. Mammadyarov said in his turn that the further strengthening of cooperative and friendly relations serves the interests of both countries, noting that energy and transportation projects being implemented are of huge importance to the welfare of the two countries as well the region.

The Azerbaijani FM invited I. Garibashvili to Azerbaijan to attend the opening ceremony of the Baku-2015 First European Games which will be held in June. Garibashvili accepted the invitation with pleasure.

The sides reiterated at the meeting that Azerbaijan and Georgia mutually support each other’s territorial integrity, sovereignty and the inviolability of the internationally recognized borders.
