Referring to Iran’s rejection of the US currency, the minister stressed that Azerbaijan and Iran are possible to use the national currency in the trade operations. “Iran conducts trade deals with other countries with their national currencies. We are interested in continuing this tendency with other countries that we cooperate with. Today we will meet with the chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. Further expansion of cooperation in banking sector will be discussed both in this meeting and the meeting of experts. The currency of a third country is also possible to use”, said the Iranian minister.
