Turkey will invite Azerbaijan to all G20 meetings - deputy PM

Istanbul. Mayis Alizade – APA. “I highly-estimate the state of economy in Azerbaijan,” Turkish Deputy Prime Minister responsible for the economy Ali Babacan told APA’s Turkey correspondent at the meeting of G20 finance ministers and central bank governors in Istanbul.

Babacan said that the Azerbaijani finance minister was also invited to this meeting jointly held in Istanbul with Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and he is attending the meeting.

“We are pleased of it. Azerbaijan is a friendly and fraternal country for Turkey. I’m closely following and highly-estimate the economic situation in Azerbaijan. Turkey, as a host country of G20, will invite Azerbaijan to all meetings of G20. Azerbaijan’s participation in the meetings will contribute to the development of our bilateral relation and cooperation within international organizations,” he added.
